What I can say is they must change if they are to get better”.

Therapy For Women

Are you a woman who is overwhelmed and struggling to find Therapy for womensatisfaction and joy in your daily life?

Do you feel like something needs to change but you aren’t even sure where to begin?

Have to-do lists, work, and other responsibilities left you with little or no time to take care of yourself, let alone figure out what needs to change in order for you to feel better?

Are you struggling with one or more of the following?

  • low self-esteem
  • anxiety
  • depression
  • stress management difficulties
  • finding meaning in life
  • relationship problems
  • an eating disorder

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above then you are not alone.

In today’s fast paced society it becomes especially difficult to find the time and energy to slow down enough to breath and connect with how we feel about ourselves, our relationships, and our lives.  What can result is a perpetual state of unhappiness.  Sometimes it is not until a crisis occurs or “symptoms” (eg. exhaustion, illness, substance abuse) or when other personal problems begin to manifest, that we stop and realize that our current path needs immediate examination.

You may have found that when you have tried to discuss these problems with friends and/or family and your concerns were not taken as seriously as you would have liked.  Perhaps you were told that:

  • You should be happy; after all you have a nice car, a great job, your health-- what more do you want?
  • Your problems aren’t that serious -- it could be a lot worse.
  • You’re so selfish -- you should just appreciate what you have.
  • You seem to have such a great partner what are you complaining about?
  • Don’t worry; things will get better.

Perhaps these people were well intentioned in their responses but likely what you were looking for was to feel listened to, understood, and your experiences and feelings taken seriously.

I have worked with a couple of different therapists and can say for certain that Bronwyn has the gift of insight - she just knows intuitively what to offer....
